We are so pleased to announce the hiring of Maddie Lebben as
Miracle’s new Director of Operations. Maddie, a long-time resident
of Cedar Rapids, brings to the position a love of horses,
administrative experience, and her work with the special-needs
Maddie started riding at a young age, working at a stable in exchange for lessons. Eventually, she became an employee of the stable and participated on the show circuit in dressage and jumping. She has worked with several human-service agencies assisting at-risk families and youth, as well as individuals with physical and mental challenges.
Her degree in Art and Design from Iowa State University has given her a creative approach to her administrative positions in both business and government. It is easy to see why we are so lucky to have her, as this position combines all the things that she is passionate about!
Thanks to you, we met our goal
We hoped to raise $15,000 before the end of 2018 because generous donors agreed to match donations to that amount. We raised more than $20,000 because of your support.
Thank you for believing in Miracles in Motion and helping us make those miracles possible.
Miracles in Motion celebrated 30 years of service with a gala on Thursday, September 13. Thanks to the sponsors, all those who donated items for the silent auction, everyone who came and helped, and special thanks to South Slope for hosting the event at the South Slope Community Center. Thanks also to Mr. Sea and Little Guy, the smallest of our therapeutic equines, for welcoming attendees.
Confidence. Comfort. Strength. Community. Let it move you.
These are just some of the benefits that transform lives every day at Miracles in Motion, for not only children, adults and veterans with disabilities but also local leaders in our communities, and our volunteers.
